10 Things to Smile About (inspired by Things I Can’t Say)

This post is inspired by Mama Kat for me. She is over at Mama's Losin' It! And I am so thankful to be back in Blog land!! I have missed everyone and all of your posts!! So to start off...
1. When my Hubby works nights, my boys usually end up in bed with me. It makes me smile to have cuddles even though it is my two boys, and the two dogs!

2. Walks make me smile! The boys, Hubby and I love going on walks!
3.My Hubby makes me smile. When I do get to put some make-up on his head sure does turn pretty quick!

4. I smile at short attention spans! Teething babys are hard to deal with at times, but shiny new objects buy you a couple of minutes to get something done. So, when your Husband asks what you did that day you can say I moved the laundry from the dryer to the bed! Oh Yeah!
5. Smiling because my 8 month old is getting all of his teeth at once! Ok, that is exaggerating, but they are coming in quick and that means once they are in mama will finally be able to sleep again!
6. I smile at the scale now! Not to much, but just enough to keep coaxing it down! And here is a shameless plug. I love the Melaleuca Access bars. They taste so sinfully good. And they still help me loose the weight! Yay Baby!

7. No more cats! I know I am mean! But I have to smile at no more messes from the cats! Walking into my sons room and finding a bean bag full of pee is no fun! What do you do? Because your kid is the first one in there to point it out to you and you go into slow mo while your kid manages to fall into the puddle!
8. I am smiling at funny situations!! I will have to go into more details about a particular Wal-Mart Poop story! Lets just say my Hubby doesn't deal well with poop! ha ha!

9. Maleleuca makes me smile! I know it's a shameless plug, since I am selling it. But it has changed my life. The vitamins are amazing. It feels like functioning is possible. There for a while it seemed like the coffee wasn't even working!
10. The thing I am most thankful for is SCHOOL!! Yay! My Weezer is finally five and that mean he is in school and When the Waffers is napping so am I!! Yay! I know I already said yay but I just had to put another one in! Yay! and maybe one more! LOL!

New Beginings and Limbo

I has been almost a year since I last blogged...I can't believe it has been that long! But I am wanting to get back into this again. I really enjoyed it when I did do it.  My husband and I decided to make a dramatic change by moving to Colorado from Wyoming. The stupid thing about this decision was that I was 8 months pregnant. And if I can suggest any thing to a pregnant woman is that you do not ever, ever want the stress of packing up a house and trying to get your fat butt to your new location. But I did have a bright idea about all this...My parents offered to let my son and I (full blown cranky, pregnant) to stay with them until my other son was born. But money is a little tighter than I expected so we are aiming for the 9th of February. Only 7 weeks after my son was born. My 5 year old is really having a hard time with this transition. I thought to stay at my parents and then go to colorado would make it easier on him...it seems to be the opposite. My once sweet little boy is now still sweet to everyone else, but becomes a little monster once he comes home to my parents house. And I don't think it is entirely the new baby he is having a hard time with, but the fact that his Dad isn't here. Staying here has been really nice, but I hate not having my stuff about me and I feel like I am in limbo! It's frustrating!
It's kind of funny how different pregnancies and afterwards can be. It was really funny...once I got home I was really engorged and then the next day I wasn't! I thought I had lost my milk!! I was so upset. With my first son I breast fed for 6 weeks(I was going through a divorce and just couldn't do it for very long), but my body never wanted to heal and then I was engorged the whole time. I thought that was how it was suppose to be...Rock hard boobies, so sexy! Didn't realize things went to feeling alittle normal, softness wise. To bad they wont go down a size! It seems like they just keep getting bigger! LOL!

Photo challenges!

I have always loved photography and lately I have been following some blogs on photography! I have been inspired to do their challenges. One of them is from mcpaction.com. They have a theme of the month. This month is Love or Leap. I wanted to do love. My Dad took my son and I shooting yesterday and I got some really cute pics of them! Nothing like the love between a Papa and his Grandson!

 Weezer man has been pretty cranky lately. It's been two weeks since he got his tonsils and adenoids out. So, it was time to get out of the house and do something fun for him!

And for the other challenge! It's a 25 day challenge. A photo a day! And it is from Katie Evan Photography blog.(kevansphotography.blogspot.com) And hers for yesterday was Hands.(yes I am late...but I am trying to get it the swing of things again!) Today's challenge is in the home, small details, wide over views, the view outside your windows, etc. So I will post the one with the hands and hopefully I can get the one of our home later today! 

It's been so long since I posted anything and I miss it terribly! It's funny how crazy everything can get and then how wonderful at the same time!!

So, I have an obsession with watching youtube!! And there is one girl I follow, Oh la lashes. She did a bride of chuckie make-up tutorial. And guess who tried it!!??! Me!! My next thing to do is hide by the door so whenthe Hubby comes home from work tonight he sees this... 

Matt and I have been on opposite schedules this week, but I will try and wrestle that bread recipe out of him! It is so good!! But this week I have found a job! I am now working at a local floral shop here in town!! I think I am really going to like it!! I am constantly doing something crafty!! And now I get to be crafty and still make money!! And I have been messing around with my camera this week. How do you like these pics?

The Bread Winner!!

My Hubby does the yard work, heavy lifting and everything manly around the house. We have been on a mission lately to be self sufficient. We are just starting out, but we started making bread! I used to make it at the last job I did and I thought I did pretty well. I used to come up with different flavors, like jalapeno cheese. But the Hubby has been making bread for the past few months. And the first batch was so dry, but I just couldn't tell him I didn't care for it. But now to taste loaves from the store just disgust me! He makes bread that is so good that it is still moist and yummy to the last slice!!

Craftiness and Wedding Bliss!

So, I started this new blog and only posted one post! Ha! I got a little overwhelmed with the wedding! But it couldn't have turned out more perfect. It just hit me today....I am no longer a single mother spending my nights online and working my growing tush off! My...Husband...hehe... has let me take some time off (much needed) and my son and I have never been closer and I am working on getting and keeping my house clean and organized and the Weezer (my son) is loving helping with that. I will cherish it until he grows out of that!! I have also gotten into a lot of photography blogs(I'm a wannabe! And just from that statement, can you guess how old I am! LOL!) And I have been doing one of their contests, but I haven't submitted it. I am a little bit of a chicken. I am an amateur at best compared to the professionals that follow and make these sites, but it is to much fun to take my new camera that I got for my birthday and follow along in the contest every week! This weeks is action! And Boo is my Weezers nickname from his Grandma!
